International Chess Day celebrated at Tata Ariana

International Chess Day has been celebrated  at Tata Ariana , Bhubaneswar on July 20 .with the aim to raise awareness about the game of chess and appreciate chess players across the world. Chess is known as the "game of kings" and is popular for its intellectual depth. This day celebrates the ancient game of etiquette and sportsmanship. Chess is a game with a global impact and the game as an intellectual and strategic tool is essential for intellectual development. 

On this occasion , HDFC - Sum hospital branch donated a Chess Board to Senior Citizens Association of Tata Ariana . Among others the celebration was attended by Sanghamitra Maharana , BM , HDFC , Sarmila Lenka , Supriya Sahoo & Udit Narayan Mohanty . Mr C K Jena , Secy. Ariana Senior Citizen Association thanks the bank staff to actively participate in the event .
