Odisha Congress confused on issues of mines & Industry

While there is widespread resentment among the people against “ Corporate Raj ” in Odisha,  some congress leaders in the State have come forward in favour of some companies along with BJD & BJP. 

Recently  the Rayagada District Congress Committee joins issues with  BJP and BJD and organized  Press Conferences in favour of invading mining companies Vedanta, Adani, Birla and Maitree. They oppose activists including Prafulla Samantara, Bhalachandra Sarangi and Narendra Mohanty, those who are  coming in defence of victimized tribal communities fighting  against corporate raj . 

“Recently, when the whole PCC including  its President Sarat Pattanaik,  Senior leader Niranjan Pattanaik , Uma Ballav Ratha & Sasmita Behera etc shared the stage at Puri with Sr Advocate Prashant Bhusan,  Medha Patekar and Prafulla Samantaray against land grabbing of Vedanta & corporate raj in Odisha , it is ironic that Rayagada District Congress Committee joins issues with BJP and BJD to oppose activists , working in favour of Raygarah tribal people opposing Vedanta & Maitri and other companies “ - told Mr Prafulla Samantray . Addressomg a Press Meet at Bhubaneswar,  Mr Samantray alleged that local leaders of all the above 3 political parties are attacking on the constitutional rights of activists,  fighting for the right of tribals. He urged the Govt to withdraw all the false cases agant the people opposing corporate raj in the state .
