SC villager beaten , abused by Police personal for urinating on road side

There is widespread resentment among the people of Gundurimunda of Kishorenagar of Angul District in particular and SC community in general , as one Belarsen Behera allegedly brutally beaten by the Boinda Police  Beat House incharge Srumti Ranjan Nayak while urinating at road side near Handapa PS . In a complaint to Handapa Police , victim Mr Behera alleged that , When he had gone to Handapa to purchase some Puja items, it’s due to urgent nature call , while he was urinating at a waste dump yard , police Srumti Ranjan Nayak has beaten him brutally with using abusive language which were casteist in nature . 

Aggrieved on the incident , SC community people demonstrated in front of Handapa PS demanding stern action against the concerned police and filed complaint in PS . Victim Behera lodged complain regarding this in Handapa PS . The village committee members including its president Brusav Naik , Secretary Pramod Behera etc also lodged complaint to Handapa PS and other authorities including C M , Collector , SP , SC & ST commission. 

Mr C R Sahu , Advocate & Secretary “CITIZENS ACTION FORUM” in a tweet to C M demanded stern  action on it .
