Stop Corporate Raj in Odisha

Several leaders of “People's  Movement ” criticized both the BJD & BJP Government  for ongoing “ Corporate Raj ” in Odisha.  

In a public meeting  , presided over by National Womem Congress Secretary  Er Sashmita Behera at Town Hall,  Angul , leader of Vedanta Sangharsa Samiti Mr Uma Ballava Ratha told that , “farmers and representatives of people’s organisations fighting against various corporates for land , forest & water from all over Odisha are now united to fight back the Corporate Raj “. He elaborated the SC judgement on Vedanta issue and demanded that Government most immediately return land to farmers as per the order of the apex court. Mr Ratha told the people to unite to save the Agricultural land , forest & habitation from corporate acquisition . 

Mrs Sashmita Behera , called for mass movement to protect land , forest , water and other natural resources for our future generation.  She told that , their is health disaster in Angul & Dhenkanal districts due to air and water pollution . DMF funds are  not properly utilised  . People of mining areas in Chhendipada & Talcher are the casualties of massive deforestation , human -elephant conflict and polluted habitation . She urged the Government for habitation planning in the polluted region .

also addressed by Ex Union Minister Mr Bhajman Behera , Activist Satish Mishra , Devi Prasad Prusty , Tapan Mishra, Jayant Sahu , Digambar Garnaik , Bijayananda Chaulia, Suresh Behera , Sarat Pradhan , Dharmendra Mishra , Sudeepta Mishra , Tapaswini Biswal, Kutartha Dehury & Santilata Behera . 

The participants and guests round up the city in a impressive procession.
